Engage Here was founded with the goal of bringing communities together. After working together on Boulder Startup Week 2013, Tim O’Shea and Rich Maloy had a bigger vision to unite communities across geography and industry boundaries. With this vision in mind, we decided to bring two new events to Boulder, as well as support startup weeks around the world.
Co-Founding Engage Colorado in 2013 underscored Tim’s long standing commitment to cultivating leaders. Working with startup communities around the world, Tim works to build platforms for accelerating the development, growth, and success of entrepreneurs. As executive producer of the Boulder NewCo Festival over the last three years, he connects a diversity of companies and organizations across his Boulder community. In his role as Program Director for CatalyzeCU, the University of Colorado at Boulder’s accelerator program, he helps to foster early phase startups. O’Shea’s interdisciplinary awareness along with his intuitive, technical and strategic insights have served start-ups and growing companies including: Foundry Group, Techstars, the Boulder Theater, QuickLeft, Avery Brewing Company, Buffalo Exchange, GoLite, Gibbon Slacklines and many more.
Amy Lynn Herman is the Director of Audience Engagement & Acquisition for NewCo Boulder. She loves crowds, tools, technology, travel, the outdoors, being social and building businesses.
